We purchased a "Smart Relay" by IDEC which is basically a PLC with relay outputs. Our project involves two timers that the end user can enter the desired timer parameter. It sounds very simple but we do not have the technical skills required to do the programming. I need help with design of a device which can take DC (variable voltage as input from 12-60v) and convert that into an AC 110 volt 60 Hz (also 220 volt 50 Hz) and such device should be able to sense voltage and frequency of the grid , where we are trying to feed , and based on that, it can synchronize frequency and voltage. And then it can feed power to the grid, but say from usual household plug so that it becomes portable device for say uto 1000 Watt portable solar power generators, wind generator.
