We have a VB6 legacy project that has a massive, reproducible GDI leak. The leak is caused by a User Control which contains other User Controls, some of which we do not have the source code for. We need someone with profound knowledge of C++, GDI, and the Windows API to help us find the cause(s) for this leak, and close it. This project may require writing software to trace exactly what resources are leaking and which control / line of code opened them, as well as supplying solutions and advice as to how to solve this leak and avoid leaks like this in the future.

We have an ATL user control written in VS2013, based on the RichEdit control. The control is meant to work in a VB6 app. The control works fine, except that when I try to show its properties window in VB6, or when I select the component along with another component - VB6 crashes. I need someone to debug this and suggest how to make this work. I can supply the full source code for the ATL component, crash dumps for the crash, and TeamViewer access to the machine on which this crashes. If you would like more info on what Mario Paint Composer is, please check out this link. In a nutshell it is a program where you are shown music staff, and can click on different sound effects. Then click on a dotted line to place it. After you are done, you click play to make the sounds play.
