There are two lists.
List 1 (403 rows) is the master list and existing names must NOT be changed
List 2 (980 rows) contains rows of similar items to List 1. It has duplicates. Clean up as needed so there are no duplicates.
The object is to map the lists so that every instance of List 2 is represented in List 1. There are more items in List2 than List1 so new categories need to be created in List 1.
Most of List 2 can be already mapped to List 1 using either:
LIST2.CATEGORY+[login to view URL] = LIST1.CAT_NAME+LIST1.PARENT_NAME
LIST2.CATEGORY_NAME+LIST2.PARENT= LIST1.CAT_NAME+LIST1.PARENT_NAME
Where there are no existing mappings, create a new row in LIST1.
New Row Logic:
1. Create a new row where neither of the two above mappings work.
2. If the new row is a brand new category, then add a top level category after the last number used for top level category in List 1 (List 1 top level categories are all 2 digits).
3. If a new child category needs to be created in List 1, then start the child category from the number 10 (i.e. parent 45, child starts at 4510, NOT 4501).
4. Use the List 2 PARENT AND CATEGORY NAME for both parent and child field in List 1.
Document is attached. Please review prior to bidding. Please feel free to send questions.
