We are currently looking for part-time game localization experts who specialize in the following languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Polish, Greek, Swedish, Dutch, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Traditional Chinese. Position: Game Localization Specialist (Part Time) Responsibilities & Duties: •Assist in the localization of mobile games, including but not limited to translating, proofreading, and reviewing in target languages. •Work with project managers to perform localization quality assurance (LQA) in order to maintain and improve the quality of game localization. •Provide multilingual and cultural input that allows players to comfortably enjoy mobile games in their own linguistic and cultural context. •Optimize mobile game storyworlds, plots, and art settings to avoid potential cultural missteps. Qualifications & Skills An ideal candidate should: •Be a native speaker of, or be proficient in any of the following languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Polish, Greek, Swedish, Dutch, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Traditional Chinese. (Candidates with native level proficiency and multilingual abilities are highly desirable) •Demonstrate a deep understanding of the language, contemporary culture, enjoy reading literature, and possess creative writing abilities. (Experience in writing fiction and game-related creative writing are highly desirable) •Be a veteran gamer with experience across multiple game genres. Be intimately familiar with different game types, styles, and aesthetics. (Working experience in the game industry is highly desirable) •Proactively provide feedback and independently follow up on problems. •Be a team player with great communication skills. •Be a careful thinker and fast learner who is eager to explore new things. •Be a responsible individual who keeps their commitments and has outstanding time management skills.
