Project Description: We are seeking an experienced SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) professional with a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM to troubleshoot and resolve issues with our custom SSRS reports not displaying certain records when run from within Visual Studio 2019. Project Objectives: To identify and fix the cause of missing data in certain SSRS reports when viewed in Visual Studio 2019, as compared to the results from FetchXML Builder in XrmToolBox. To ensure the SSRS reports accurately reflect the data within Dynamics 365 CRM, respecting all security roles and permissions. To validate the report’s functionality and data accuracy when deployed to a production environment in Dynamics 365 CRM. Key Responsibilities: Review and analyze the existing SSRS reports and FetchXML queries to identify discrepancies in data retrieval. Modify the FetchXML or report design as necessary to correct the data inconsistency issues. Test the report with various user profiles to ensure data visibility aligns with user permissions in Dynamics 365 CRM. Provide documentation on the changes made and instructions for deployment to the production environment. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in developing and troubleshooting SSRS reports for Dynamics 365 CRM. Proficient with FetchXML and understanding of Dynamics 365 CRM’s data model and security model. Familiarity with Visual Studio 2019 and the latest Dynamics 365 CRM reporting extensions. Ability to communicate clearly and provide regular updates on progress. Preferably certified in relevant Microsoft technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solution Architect). Project Deliverables: A fully functional SSRS report that can be deployed to Dynamics 365 CRM. A written report detailing the troubleshooting process, changes made, and testing performed. A guide for deployment and any necessary maintenance steps. Please provide examples of similar projects you have worked on, especially with Dynamics 365 CRM and SSRS reports.
