I registered with Freelancer in February last year and have 145 reviews, all positive. English is my first language and my skills include technical writing, editing, proofreading, and transcribing. In February this year I took on a role as the copy editor for The International Journal of Wellbeing, an online journal, and this year I have also begun as the copy editor for the Blind Foundation of New Zealand. For two years I was a copy editor for Elsevier Science Publishers in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, rewriting text by authors who were not native English speakers. I have worked with individual clients to bring more than 25 books to publication and seven of these clients have rehired me to work on further books. Having been a teacher of English in high school for four years, I have spent many hours making corrections and suggestions for students' essays. For an additional two years I was a teacher of English as a second language. I would use the Track Changes tool for your book, inserting comments where necessary.
