Hello, I'm interested in working on your project. For academics, I charge $10.68ZAR per audio minute. I only charge per audio minute; I do not charge for proofreading, multiple listen-throughs of the audio to increase accuracy, or for formatting your document. I have over a decade of experience transcribing many accents and many fields of interest. I've worked with students before working toward the PhD or MBA. There is feedback from several that I've worked with and all were satisfied. The bid I placed is the lowest I could create based on my rates. I would guess based on your project specifications that the total would come in just over $4800ZAR (based on 10 interviews of 45 minutes. If some are less, you'd pay less.) It's possible through Freelancer for me to invoice you after the completion of each transcript within this project. Again, you pay a per minute of audio rate, so you will always know ahead of time how much you will be paying for transcription. I give a lower rate to academics, because education is important, and because the projects usually consist of multiple interviews.
