My long time engineer has passed. I am incomplete without him. I invent. He helped fine tune the work.

I am in need of a skilled Mechanical Engineer to assist me with my ongoing inventing projects. My long time engineer, who helped fine tune the work, has unfortunately passed away, leaving me incomplete without his expertise. I have many projects but the one attached is regarding my No Shock Device. The device hangs from a crane and is designed to isolate vibration to the crane line. It is used to absorb vibration from anything that might be hooked to a crane line, most vibratory pile drivers. My design has been in use since 2021. The No Shock, as you can see, has a load pin. This load pin indicates the first 45 tons of lifted weight and also indicates the area of load suppression. However, the device is capable of lifting loads much heavier than what the indicator pin shows. In fact, the load capacity is only limited by the shackles. I am currently using a 175-ton shackle on our unit. Some contractors have loads much greater than 45 tons but they still want dampening. This is very simple to solve by using two No Shocks in tandem. This would require a "spreader bar". We seek a design that joins two No Shock devices without using cables. We use the 175 ton shackle. I have included a concept drawing of what this might look like but we need an engineer to draw it and stress check it for safety. I have included our competitor's design to show how they use one of there devices and then how they double it to get more capacity. Of course, my competitor's design has no indicator pin and has troublesome cables and is easy for us to compete against. Skills and Experience Needed: - Strong background in Mechanical Engineering - Experience with working on inventing projects - Ability to work with partial designs and refine them - Knowledge in product manufacturing Project Details: - The project involves working with existing partial designs to further develop and refine them for product manufacturing. - The end goal of the project is to successfully manufacture the product. - The freelancer will be responsible for providing engineering expertise, making necessary modifications to the designs, and ensuring the final product meets the required specifications.
