Small 3D Engine Update (ioQuake / Q3A)

Hi, We are using the Quake 3 (ioQuake) as a type of simulation engine. The code has been altered to take input from motion sensors. The work is done and it is working fine. We now want to change to a new type of sensor that is more accurate. The sensors come with a full SDK and easy to use DLL, so there is no complex hardware level windows drivers issues. As the code for the other sensors is written it should just be a quick job of attaching the library and then doing a 'search / replace' on the code to get the new sensors going. The tasks: #1) Integrate the new sensor library into the C++ solution. #2) Replace the existing 'initialise' sensor code with new code & auto init. #3) Replace the existing "assign sensor to head / hand" code with new code. #4) Replace the existing "reset / sync sensor coordinates". #5) Fix an issue where all characters in game are taking their coordinates from the sensors instead of just the player (probably just an 'if not current player then ignore' type fix) #6) Fix a small issue where sensor commands are sent when in HUD mode (again, just an 'if in console mode then ignore sensor input' most likely). So, the project is really just swapping from one library to another in it's simplest form. We'd prefer to work with someone familiar to the Q3 engine, however we're sure knowledge of any 3D engine would be fine. There are more things we would like to do with the engine and it's a very interesting project, so the successful bidder and person completing this task would be asked back for more work. We also have a full, easy to read book in PDF format that details everything you need to know about the Quake engine. I imagine this would only take a day or two for someone concentrating on it. We will provide you with all the source code, sdks and anything else you need. As the sensors will be on our site we can also provide a test machine that you can remotely access via VNC etc. We will also make ourselves available for interactive testing and anything else you may need from us. Please do us a favor, if you have no experience or don't have enough time to accept this bid and then complete it shortly after... do not bid.
