Our business is currently structured as a sole trader enterprise, but we will be transitioning to a proprietary limited company in the upcoming months. At present, we manage all our revenues and expenditures through a single business account. For different types of expenses, we use different cards - for instance, the card ending in 1234 is used for fixed expenses, while the card ending in 0123 is for non-fixed expenditures. All our receipts are sent to Receipt-Bank, which is synced with QuickBooks. However, the data in QuickBooks isn't reliable due to subpar performance from our current bookkeeper. We require a detailed business budget that outlines our expenses and income, with the remainder divided into allocations for family expenses, business costs, savings, and reinvestment into the company. Additionally, we need assistance in crafting a family budget. At the moment, our spending habits are merely conjectures, as we lack concrete knowledge on our financial capacities. Our document organization needs improvement for a more streamlined understanding of both our business and family budgets. We also require an inventory management sheet that outlines stock costs against selling price to calculate profits. In QuickBooks, every transaction must be corroborated with a receipt from Receipt-Bank or reconciled from the bank statement. We need to ensure daily recording of all income and expenses via Receipt-Bank and QuickBooks, including the reconciliation of two bank accounts. Cross check receipts emailed to our accounts inbox is cross-matched in our business bank account Similarly, our PayPal account transactions should be reconciled daily, with income and expenses exported via .csv from the PayPal website. In terms of loans, we have a payment schedule with interest and variable interest loans. We need a flexible system to adjust certain interest rates within our budget for variable interest monthly adjustments. Regarding inventory, I maintain a Google Sheet with all product SKUs and quantities. However, the lack of wholesale price data makes it challenging to calculate profits and markups. We are also exploring cost structure concepts, as detailed on the Gartner website. We need cost structure setup In essence, we require comprehensive budgeting support for both business and personal finances. This is the breakdown of what is needed from the above points 1. removed 2. Improvement in the management of business revenues and expenditures. 3. A comprehensive business budget detailing expenses, income, and divisions for family expenses, business costs, savings, and reinvestment. 4. A detailed family budget to better understand spending capabilities. 5. Enhanced document organization for a clearer understanding of business and family budgets. 6. An inventory management sheet outlining stock costs against selling price for profit calculation. 7. Daily recording and reconciliation of all income and expenses via Receipt-Bank and QuickBooks, including two bank accounts. 8. Daily reconciliation of PayPal transactions and extraction of income and expenses data via .csv. 9. A flexible system for adjusting interest rates within the loan payment schedule. 10. The acquisition of wholesale price data for all inventory to aid in profit and markup calculations. 11. Exploration of cost structure concept 12. Match Receipt-bank categories to the accounting software that we choose to use.
