Dear Sirs/Madams;-) I hope I can be a great asset to your team! Being a native Swedish speaker with a Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English, I have English writing, editing and proofreading skills acquired from secretarial, administrative, editing, proofreading and transcription work both in Sweden and in the United States. My BA is a mix of Law 1 year, Earth Sciences/Geology 3 years and Art History 1,5 years from the University of Stockholm, Sweden. As you can see, I am quite a generalist, but I have a somewhat deeper knowledge within the areas of Earth Sciences, particularly mining, ore geology and mineralogy as well as in "legalese" and Art History. Also working as a freelance photographer/artist, I started this past summer to work for freelance agencies online. All jobs have been delivered with very good feedback. Naturally, I want to make sure the work I deliver is to the satisfaction of the client. Other languages that I would not dare to claim any proficiency in, but that are sometimes supportive as background awareness (or easy translations) are the following: Norwegian (mother is Norwegian), French (7 years of high school and business French in secretary education), German (2 years in high school), Spanish (lived in Spain 4 years - basic understanding) and Latin (3 years high school).
