create an application which allows a user to select a country from a list or a search box and display a small amount of information about that country, including displaying the country’s flag. Flags can be found here: [login to view URL] or sourced elsewhere if you prefer. The application should make use of the REST countries API ([login to view URL]). However, it should not simply fetch all the data once, rather do individual requests per selected country. Please complete the task in Javascript, utilizing best practices. Complete and return the assignment as a .zip file or a remote repository.

Hello. If this is still open, is it something like the following: [login to view URL] What that page does is as follows: (a)first, it loads [login to view URL] file (downloaded from [login to view URL]) to setup its select box. (b)when "Submit Query" button is hit, it sends 2nd ajax to [login to view URL], to get details for selected country. Problem is I still am not sure what and which details needed to be displayed for a country, so page just pastes all JSON details to the bottom. Kindly let me know further, Hendra D.

If its only the part of REST API then I would suggest you to use angular js which speed up the development phase. I am not a HTML designer but in can integrate any free bootstrap template.
