SQL Transaction Import/Export Application ========================================= Need program in VB.NET to do TWO jobs Two different CSV file layouts (slightly different) (1) Read a CSV file and Display the data in a scrollable datagrid Having viewed the file the user will press a Button to IMPORT the data into a MSSQL an existing database table. Using INSERT INTO Read a Text file – [login to view URL] which contains the last transaction number this count (SQL ID) is used and incremented as each item is incremented. If the IMPORT is run by the user the [login to view URL] is updated with the latest value. If the user cancels the program simply exists. (2) Read a SQL table (different from above) and Display the data in a scrollable datagrid Having viewed the file the user will loop through and press a Button to EXPORT the data into a CSV file. A file [login to view URL] is read to determine the starting transaction number (SQL ID) On each pass of the loop the routine will also (in addition to wring CSV) run a command line i.e. SGI xx yy zz etc passing values from the grid. If the EXPORT is run by the user the [login to view URL] is updated with the latest value.
