I have one Master Excel Data Sheet that I would like updated with 15 different files/sheets. Each Item in the Master Data Sheet has it's own unique part number with an alternate lookup part number, description, long description, cost, price, weight, length, width, and various other fields. The Master Data Sheet has approx. 9,500 items and once merged it should have around 12,000 items.
The files/sheets to be merged have the same unique part number, but a more detailed description. So the task is to use the Master Data Sheet Vlookup and replace (or other method) description with detailed description. Import the size and weight of the item and any other data from the new sheet to the Master Data Sheet such as new items.
Items to be completed:
1. Merge 15 excel sheets into one Master Data sheet.
2. Verify there are no duplicates
3. Once Master File is complete, create macro that I can update the price of each item with a new excel sheet that has new pricing. Would like one button update price.
