We run a restaurant chain and have multiple units operating. At each unit we have a time attendance machine which has a fingerprint system and generates reports in SRP format which can be imported into excel. Each unit also makes a weekly roster for its staffing and we want to be able to match the rostering with the punching of each employee and generate a time report at the end of the month before we process salary to make sure each employee is coming in on time to work. At the moment, this is done manually in an excel sheet but we would like to have the ability to generate the report automatically for each employee. For the data structure we would need a Unit/Restaurant ID and also an Employee ID so that we can match up the unit and the employee. In some instances employees also goto multiple outlets and punch in and out at each so we need to be able to calculate their work hours and reporting times. Our current excel roster and also a time sheet generated by us is attached to give you an idea of what we need developed. The system should be web based and can run either on a windows or a linux platform.
