hello sir, I can write a script for you, and make this script startup with your RPI system, and as I known, there are many audio player software can be used(commands) to player music in background, and also I can write the function to detect the usb floppy device in a script. Is it implied that if I am bidding for this project, I should have a Pi available for development ? - Content question ? What Linux variant do you want on this Pi ? Arch linux is in general suitable for this. Summary of steps I would like to take: - Install/Boot arch linux, use udev rules, init scripts in order to achieve the audio play.
