Kinect baseball game

We have come across an interesting opportunity. A client of ours is looking to have a baseball game for their customers to play in an outside lobby area. The client would like to utilize the PC Kinect hardware and PC software SDK for the game. The client would also like integration with Facebook and Twitter as well and possibly a feed into their website that displays the leaderboard. The game itself would be a home run derby where a pitcher would pitch a combination of fast baseballs, changeups, curve balls and sliders. Users would test their skill and virtually hold a bat and try to hit home runs off of the pitcher. This game is not to be distributed through and xbox or microsoft game channels it has very specific use and is not to be sold for dtribution. A user would step up in the play "area" and wave their hand in order to get the Kinect to sense their presence. This is a single player game. The user would use a Kinect interface to enter in their username which is optional and optionally enter in their email address. As soon as the user info is all taken care of the game is set to begin. The game will ask if the user is left handed or right handed. The screen would transition to a field view of a baseball park with the vantage point just above the player (hitter). The hitter is positioned on the left or right side depending on their dexterity. The game would be designed to be fun for all ages, so the first few pitches or so would be somewhat easy for young kids to hit a home run. user will get 3 outs in an inning. A home run would count towards your score as 1 with total feet the ball traveled for a home run to be tallied as well and be used in the event of a tie and would be used as a tie breaker. Pitches form the pitcher (computer) would progressively get faster and harder to hit with each home run you would hit. If a hit ball was not a home run it would count as an out. 3 outs and you are done. The game is over and the screen would read game over then transition to an option screen that would read same user? Or new user? Same user selection you just start the game again and of course a new user would have to if they wish enter in their username and email. There will be a monthly leader board in which users would qualify for only if they had provided the username and email. Emails are never displayed and only for the use of the client to send prizes to monthly winners. The username would be displayed on the leaderboard. The leaderboard would need to have a settings area or admin area where the leaderboard could be reset manually or automatically on a monthly basis. Expanding on the admin area or CMS or area where we could design the unforms by uploading logos and choosing from different colors and uniform design options. Nothing to fancy in this area just something that allows for some customization. Also an area where there may be some billboards that have editable text or replace the billboard image so the client can change the ads that are displaying on the billboard that will be located in the stands beyond the outfield fence. This area may need some more thought but a control or settings area would need to be developed for some configuration needs. The results would post to a section of the designated Facebook area the client would have set up and new leaders would be tweeted and also have a leaderboard displayed on the clients website. The idea here with integration is for users to check out the leaderboard and for users to visit these areas to make sure they are still on the leaderboard and while there check out marketing materials and other product information our client wishes to show. This would obviously take some work with the various api's that Facebook, Twitter, their website and possibly .....see attached document for the rest......................
