I require a specialized application that can transfer file files from Server A to Server B, via FTP, when the contents of specified directories on Server A have had new uploads. Should run as a service on Windows Server 2008, with a simple graphical interface to report which files have been transfered and view uploads in progress.
There are inexpensive FTP folder sync programs (eg Syncback) but I DONT want syncing - I want new files on Server A to be transfered to Server B, Server A then NEVER attempts to re-send the file again. Thus, it needs to have a database of some sort to know that it has already sent a file to Server B, and does NOT re attempt to send the file again.
There will potentially be tens or hundreds of thousands of files on Server A. Also, I need to have an interface to specify which directories on Server A I want sent to Server B (which will always have a single destination directory).
It would be nice to have if I could specify that files older than a certain date could be excluded from uploading to server B.
