Implementation of Zero-skewness log transform in Python: 1. It seems that there is no Python package to do Zero-skewness log transform 2. I gave it a first try in file: [login to view URL] 2a. Works fine on numpy arrays with only positive numbers ... 2b. ... but not with arrays containing zeros or negative numbers. 3. Stata implementation can deal with all arrays (positive and negative numbers). Stata code can be found in [login to view URL] (I am not familiar with Stata code, but make sure you are able to read Stata code!) 4. I created test cases (from test data generated in Stata) in test_lnskew0.py. The Python code that you have to write should pass all 29 test cases.
