I am looking for a developer who can help me display utf8mb4_general_ci characters into Chinese characters on my custom-built website. The current character encoding of my webpage is UTF-8.
I have developed a program in my computer's using XAMPP with MySQL fields collation in utf8_general_ci for Chinese Characters. After that I restore my program into my website and the system change my fields collation into utf8mb3_general_ci automatically. I search through the web and know that utf8mb3_general_ci is deprecating so I change the collation to utf8mb4_general_ci. The problems now are either I used utf8mb3_general_ci or utf8mb4_general_ci, my php page are not displaying the Chinese characters by displaying a ? symbol.
I need to display the utf8mb4_general_ci Characters into Chinese Characters in php webpage, and when the user input data into this fields, it also can displayed in Chinese Characters and not affected other English characters and input. I believed if you know how to do this, this is only a 5minutes job.
