Project Description I am looking for a developer that has experience in developing software for farms, managing livestock. ONLY!! Please do not respond if you do not have this knowledge. Develop a simple website also to showcase the application and allow users to download a basic version limited version of the application and full version that is charged. The application will be downloaded onto a user's desktop, PC or Mac. This will auto install and the user will be able enter there configurable data, eg. Farm name, address etc. The farmer can give access to others with restricted rights. The information needs to be maintained in the application securely. Also need the ability to be able to extract data from xls, and other livestock management applications. The application needs to be simple and intuitive to use with simple navigation and easy help files/ basic use case videos to guide the user. Following Herd, health, & husbandry:- Health & husbandry manager Weight & condition manager Groups manager Task manager Stock valuation manager Breeding:- Mating manager Consanguinity (inbreeding) checker Breed society registrations Sales:- Sale profiles Fleece manager Shows & Awards Upload to AlpacaSeller Movements manager Ownerships manager Alpaca photos Reporting:- Individual and herd reports Health and husbandry Family trees Medical history Mating & breeding Sales Mating, pregnancy, and health certificates Stock valuations Movements Ownership Export reports to email Export reports to Microsoft Office applications Program:- Unlimited herd size Unlimited pedigree Automatic backup Metric and imperial support Full tutorials Email support Please ONLY respond if you have experience in this development area and can bring new ideas on how existing platforms work. Hi. What about a facebook for alpacas? I'll try to keep as short as possible. Local dbs are so last century stuff. What about creating some kind of community? basically all data "Alpaca Manager" has (damn, ms-access forms are ugly) is privately stored in the cloud. But when one wants to sell or find a mate for it or whatever have the possibility to make the profile (full or partial) public for other breeders to see it.
