ONLY XSL EXPERT PLEASE!
The output of this task is 2 XSL parameterized templates or C# class with 2 methods
I. Relative path
This template should take 2 parameters, each of them is Xpath expression in the form like:
/A[1]/B[1]/C[2]/#a
or
/*[2][#id = '1']/*[5]/comment()[3]
etc.
The process should return a RELATIVE Xpath, the shortest travers from 1st Xpath to the 2nd, using parent::, sibling::, child:: syntax if needed.
IMPORTANT: Xpaths might refer to any Xml entity: element, attribute, comment, processing instruction.
II. Criteria
This template should take 2 parameters, 1st of them is Xpath expression in the form like:
/A[1]/B[1]/C[2]/#a
or
/A[2][#id = '1']/B/comment()[3]
etc.
and the 2nd is criteria expression, e.g:
/A[2]/text() = 'test'
The process should return a Xpath (1st argument) matching criteria, e.g,
/A[2][#id = '1'][text() = 'test']/B/comment()[3]
-------------
Note: '#' stands for attribute
Both templates or C# methods should work on most general xpaths.
That's all
