Our client requires an iphone application that pulls and displays information from an RSS feed. This feed will be updated regularly. The user will have the ability to select their region -- a push feature will automatically alert them when an RSS feed item is relevant to their area. Requirements: - The software will dynamically pull information from an RSS feed. - All the entries on the field will be displayed on screen (a scroll function will be required) - The user will have the ability to view more information about an RSS item - RSS entries will have a similar format, and must be formatted accordingly - The RSS application logo will need to be integrated (both as an icon and displayed on screen) - The sponsors logo will also need to be displayed on screen - The user will have the option of selecting their current region (a list of regions will be included) - A special field will be available in the RSS file, if the selected region matches an item in this tag a push alert is automatically displayed on the phone - The push alert will display a message (details to be provided) - A terms & conditions section of the application will display special information. We have not yet developed an iphone application so we need a developer with experience, someone who can guide us through the process. Some questions we have include: 1. How long does apple take to approve an application? 2. How will we test the application before it goes live? 3. On the app store will the application be published by our clients business or does the api require it be published by the developer? 4. Is there any other information we should know about developing an iphone application? Thank you in advance.
