This project is to create a copy of our existing website [[login to view URL]][1].? This copy will then be amended with a new colour scheme and potentially some new photographs.? Any photographs will simply replace existing ones (i.e. they will slot into the same place on the template). The contact us page will be different and the news page will simply link to impact it's original news page at [[login to view URL]][1]. The logo should be replaced with a new logo (which we will provide).? Text will be amended and the developer will place this text for us. The video loading graphic will have to be changed to reflect the new colour scheme/logo.? Amendments will be made to the mata tags, H1 tags and other SEO coding used on the original site. In addition to this the new site will be given a Forum Page in which visitors can upload questions and we can respond. The final and most challangeing part of this bid is a live feed job board.? our staff will input job vacancies onto an external sysem (Broadbean) this then feeds the information to our site.? We are asking for our original site [[login to view URL]][1] and this new site to have an additional page build that is primed to recieve this feed.? in the long run we will need the capability to set filters on the feeds so that only certain jobs feed through to the second (new) site. This website will then be uploaded to a new domain name. ## Deliverables I have chosed formal documentation rather than our usual system of informal communication.? This is becuase I think it is wise to see a mock up of the new colour scheme before you start working on all the pages.? From this point forward I'm happy to continue with our informal meathod of communicating. Also, this domain name is not settup on the same server as our existing site.? The domain name is hosted by fasthosts and I think is is on a shared server. Where I have mentioned the placing of text, this will be limited to pages where the copy needs to be changed completely.? In most cases we will just make small tweeks to the text using our content managment system once it is up an online. This is a basic copy and change to colour scheme but there will be a new logo which might lead to changing our flash loading bar and as the existing photographs? are designed for a different market we may change these too.? We will provide the photos as usual.? I don't at this point intend to change the videos given the time they took to put in place.? If we do need to change videos we will discuss this separetly. Finally, I hope to get the html email project and the changes to the existing website finished before we start this so I would set a long dealine of several weeks away to allow for this.? As usual we will be guided by you on deadlines.
