I have two web forms that are already created in HTML (PHP page) and need processing/handling setup. I'm thinking PHP but if you have a better solution I'm open to 'hearing' it. Site resides on a Linux server with PHP 5.3.28 and Perl 5.10.1. Form #1 is a simple contact form with 4 text fields 4 check box options. Form #2 is simple as well but a little more info being asked for with about 20 text fields and 2 check box options. I need the following on both forms. - validation on required fields - email sent with data (to me, not the user) - return a thank you page upon submission (already created) - secure from hackers - captcha code Ideally, I would like for you to set this up on your local server and test to make sure it's working, then send to me with instructions of what variables I need to update. I will test it on the live server and any troubleshooting could be done via Skype if that makes it easier. If more information is needed please let me know. I'd like to get started as soon as possible. Thank you!

I can do the task and would be using PHP. I have been working with web security before, so I have a good knowledge of preventing cross-site scripting attacks (reflected) and cross-site request forgery attacks, which are the two most critical types of vulnerabilities for this kind of code, unless you're saving data in a database. For captcha I would use recaptcha, which is easy to set up, unless you have an opinion of the captcha provider. What are the requirements for the code? Are we talking about simple PHP files with HTML, is it object-oriented, does it use some kind of framework, does it use any kind of template engine (such as Smarty)? Depending on the answer, the code could be done faster or slower than simple PHP files with no framework or anything, but they would much likely result in more robust code, but maybe that's not an issue? Regarding validation I would recommend both JavaScript-based validation (client validation) and server-based.
