YAHOO IM(repost)

We are looking to work with someone on a basis visual basic 6 Yahoo IM bot, or a plugin for trillian that can help us function more with trillian, ideally you will have Visual Basic experience and can design us a new bot in VB 6 with fully commented source code and a easy to manipulate yahoo plugin for such. Many people have accomplished similar tasks before, and have indeed succeeded at connecting to Yahoo through their own program, some of the freeware or open source projects over at sourceforge. You are quoting on creating and customising the theory behind a yahoo bot, and creating the visual basic project with error handling and forms designed and full commented code. If your not comfortable in any area of this, don't pester me. I want good work from a quality coder who knows what they are doing with IM protocols and VB. P.S - I am a VB Coder, I know if your work is good. Don't try and pull a kid stunt over me with your test project, I will look for dummies and block them. I want reliable work, this needs a reliable coder. I good rated coder, although I am understanding. With your bid, please enclose a sample compiled executable if available that shows a connection to yahoo with username and password retrieved from a database that you will create ("tblyahoo" for the table, "username" for username and "pwd" for password) (if you have access) ideally, your sample work will have the theory in play, but I need to see a connection to see if your fit for the task. I also don't want to spend a great deal on making this happen. A plugin for Trillian would be:- Database to get usernames and passwords, connection to yahoo is already available in Trillian, the last response from the Yahoo server, should also be stored on my MySQL server (ASP needs it). Trillian also has a limit of 100 users online (before it crashes or the system crashes down so you need to know SQL - or I can provide that!). ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
