Hi there, I would like some modifications done to my Vtiger customer portal. I will try and explain as best I can. Please contact me for any specifics that I have missed. - Basically I want my clients to create repair tickets in the trouble ticket section of the customer portal. As you probably know there are only a few fields available when creating “new tickets”. I would like to add a few custom fields, remove some existing fields and change the labels of some existing fields in the “new ticket” form. It probably goes without saying that once they submit the data it needs to populate the database and be visible to me in the admin area and also the user in the customer portal. - My next problem is that I use PDF Maker for my Invoice and Quote templates, but when you download invoices or quotes from the customer portal it uses the default vtiger template. Is there a way to use the templates that I have created with PDF Maker to download the invoices and quotes in the customer portal? - Next I need some help with workflows. I have created a test workflow to send a custom email template to clients when they create a new ticket, but the email never gets delivered. I have read that it has something to do with cron jobs not being activated but don’t have the knowhow or time to do this. I also want to create a workflow to send custom email templates when the “status” of a ticket is updated. Can you help with this? Below is a list of everything I need done: 1. New Ticket (Customer Portal) 1.1. Change Labels of following fields: 1.1.1. Title ---> Your Reference Number (Description: this will also be the ticket title) 1.1.2. Description ---> Fault Description (Description: please give a detailed description of the fault or failure) 1.2. Remove following fields: 1.2.1. Product Name 1.2.2. Service Contracts 1.2.3. Ticket Priority 1.2.4. Ticket Severity 1.2.5. Ticket Category 1.3. Add new custom fields: I have already created the new custom fields in the admin area under Trouble Tickets > Layout Editor. I have attached a excel doc with the field info that I extracted from the database and also a image of the current form my clients use to log repair requests. You can view it on my website at [login to view URL] Below is a list of the custom fields. 1.3.1. Equipment Manufacturer -> Pick List 1.3.2. Other Manufacturer -> Text 1.3.3. Part / Product / Model Number -> Text 1.3.4. Serial Number -> Text 1.3.5. Serial number does not exist... -> Checkbox 1.3.6. Repair Type -> Picklist 1.3.7. Contract Number -> Text 1.3.8. Accessories -> Text Area 1.3.9. Special Instructions -> Text Area 2. Use PDF Maker Template when downloading Invoices and Quotes from customer portal 3. Help with creating workflows with custom email templates 3.1. Workflow to send custom email template to client and support group when new ticket is created from portal or admin area 3.2. Workflow to send custom email template to client and support group when the status of a ticket has been updated from the admin area 3.3. Help to create or activate cron jobs so emails actually get sent I think that’s all for now. I hope I’ve explained it properly.
