using spiders or site-specific APIs for a set of about 100 websites: - given a keyword, scrape the results of searches on all 100 sites. - aggregate results using a to-be-developed ranking system - there will be video/photo/URL content across the sites - administrator can add or delete sites from the list that needs to be searched. - on the front page: "most popular searches". "most recent searches". - RSS feeds created so that people can use an RSS reader to see if there are any new results across the 50-100 sites. - Google AdSense integration - Google search results at the bottom of search results page (below the scraped results from the other sites). - Basic design for front page and search results page.
