I would like to have a site (cloud-based software) where a car dealer or individual can go to print a window sticker for their vehicle. This usually involves a background image (shell) and translation of data from a feed (usually a .csv or .txt file). The fields should have the ability to be customized: location, font, size, color and should be editable on the fly. For example, if the data source is incorrect, I would like the end user to have the ability for a manual override prior to printing the stickers.
Multiple background options should be available. For example, one dealer may need a template for Toyota, Toyota Certified, Scion, Scion Certified, and a general sticker for everything else.
In addition to the window sticker, there is a buyer's guide that requires specific information from that vehicle to appear such as the stock number, VIN, year, make model, dealership info, and so on. there are Several different options of Buyer's Guides and each should be available in English and Spanish (As-Is, Factory Warranty - dealer make, Factory Warranty - other, Limited Warranty, and Certified Pre-Owned. General rules should be able to set a default for each vehicle but the end user should have the ability to overwrite. For example, for a Mercedes-Benz Dealer, we should be able to say: Any MBZ under 4 years or 50,000 will default to the MBZ Factory Warranty sticker and Buyer's Guide Template and all other makes under 3 years or 36,000 miles default to the standard Factory Warranty Sticker / Buyer's Guide.
Would like the ability to map fields based on multiple data sources. Also, printer defaults would be useful as often this requires a sticker from a different tray and / or duplex printing.
