Photo Transfer iPhone to site / FTP / Edit

Had some software created recently through Freelancer.com but the software doesn't work as expected (not really at all). Can either build off of current or start from scratch. Because we lost several weeks with the previous Freelancer, we are in a rush to get this up and running as soon as possible. Basically, we are an automotive photography company for car dealerships. We transfer images from the field (eye-fi card to iPhone to SmugMug / Zenfolio). We do use another app on the iphone to resize the images prior to saving to the camera roll. This reduces the size to 1024 prior to sending to save on data usage / speed up the push process. We are looking to have our own iPhone / Android app that will resize / re-name images prior to saving them to the phone. OR, not save them to the camera roll but relay them to our site (similar to ShutterSnitch). OR, have the photographer upload directly to the site from their iPhone. The site would replace SmugMug and ZenFolio to increase speed and images loss. Images do NOT need to be stored for long periods of times - only until the office can download them and upload them to our other software. We display each photographer's folder on a screen that refreshes every 10-15 seconds. Each Photographers folder has a name and the most recent image uploaded (reverse order) so that we know when the upload is complete (image keeps changing as they are pushed to the site). Due to cellular connection, sometime image push gets interrupted and they need to be re-pushed. We would like identical file names to overwrite the previous - so that we do not have duplicates. OK for preview to have square thumbnails - similar to what we currently have. Images are actually more rectangle so it is fine for the thumbnail preview to be centered on the image - cut off on the left and the right. Would like to be able to custom sort the photographer folders to divide the work up by the in-house staff. Typically 9 previews wide, 5-6 rows high. Ability to fit screen would be awesome (large screen to iPhone). Edit: Would like to be able to batch edit on the website (can be automated) as well as have the ability to perform additional edits on selected images. I have attached a screenshot from a competitor that has the similar option available ([login to view URL]). The website will not necessarily be forward facing (public). However, we have no website building experience so would need to have a basic site created as well. We would like to be able to duplicate on sub-sites for other companies that may want to use our system in the future (keep their images different from ours - assign downloads to different teams). Site is used on both computer and cell phone screens. Would like to have the presentation make sense regardless of the device being used to view.
