For our website [login to view URL], we want to create a temporary welcome page on-demand. This page is not active all the time. We should be able to control.
1. Before going to the [login to view URL] page, user should go to a landing page (more like a welcome). On that page we will have an image and a message below that. (A simple HTML page with some nice styling. I have attached couple of landing page screen shots for your idea.
2. On the landing/welcome page, user clicks on "continue to home page" and the user should go to the home page.
2a. Also, there should be a timer on the welcome page.. After the time elapses, it should take the user to the home page (our regular [login to view URL] page).
3. As long as user is in the same browser window browsing our site, user shouldn't see that page again.
4. If the user closes the browser and comes back and tries to go to our site, then it should show up again.
Adminstration requirements:
1. A php page where we upload a picture and message. You should upload the picture to our web server.
2. Construct the welcome page using the uploaded picture and the message below that.
3. A php page to enable or disable this welcome page.
4. You can use mysql to store the path to the uploaded picture, message etc. But you should build a simple html page as the welcome page from this data. You shouldn't read mysql tables for every user visit.
Note: If you like to take up this work please briefly describe how you can achieve this then we will approve.
