Write text to pocketPC

We need an ActiveX Control that can be used in pocket IE. Basically, we need to write html form data to a text file under pocket IE on the iPAQ pocketPC. This control needs to: a] get the file path from a javascript variable, b] open (or create) the text file for appending, c] write a text string stored in a javascript variable to the file, and d] close the file. Here is our advice from MicroSoft Desktop activeX controls will not run on CE. The customer will need to write their own ActiveX Control using the Embedded Visual Tools (eVT) and put it in an installer package (.cab file) the installer CAB format is different for CE so they will have to use the [login to view URL] from the embedded visual tools SDK. Note to be able to use this control from the webpage it must be marked as "safe for scripting". Previously they might have used the eVB file control but this is no longer usable from HTML as it is not marked safe for scripting. If they have code for the desktop version of the control they may be able to port the code to eVC. If they do this they will want to make sure the GUID for the CE version is the same as the GUID for the desktop version so that they can be instantiated with the same script. ## Deliverables Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased. ActiveX control delivered in a in sample html page that contains a javascript variable (filePath) that specifies the path to the file and the file name; a javascript variable (thisData) that includes the text string that will be written to filePath; a text entry box and button that allows new data to be assigned to thisData. (in short a demo that will run on the pocket PC) We would prefer the ActiveX control to work under all Pocket PCs using Windows CE V3.x.
