I am hoping to find a coder fluent in Java (Tomcat, JSP, etc), MySQL to create a web page project. Important details: 1. User uploads image(s). Uploader will be able to discern if the file being uploaded is valid or otherwise and will set a limit on pictures to be uploaded by file size and image dimensions. Pictures will basically be checked into a MySQL database. 2. The web page(s) to be created will be dynamic and constantly update themselves as users upload new images. 3. The site's backend MUST be scalable, being able to handle a high volume of traffic and users constantly uploading and viewing pictures dynamically. 4. Pictures will only be available to a user for a predefined amount of time.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
Server details: - Linux (RH9) - Apache HTTP Server - Tomcat - MySQL Database Client compatibility: - KHTML Browsers (Safari, Konqueror) - Mozilla Browsers - IE - Opera - I would mention Lynx and Links, but this is about images. ;) Image Types: - jpeg - png - gif - bitmap (though I would prefer these uncompressed file types be converted to something lossy and compressed like a jpeg)
