XML File Editor for simple updates

XML File Update Program Summary: We have an xml file which contains custom data. We have been editing the text but this is not always simple. We want a program that will accept input fields and write them to the xml file in the correct place and in the correct format. Details: See the included screen shot example(photoshopped screenshot) Make a data entry/edit program that edits an xml data file. Data file looks like this: <BigCategory1> <!-- ## Subcategory1 --> <site search="[login to view URL]" msg="This is a big website"/> <site text1="bigwebsite" text2="biggerwebsite" msg="This is a bigger website than the last"/> </BigCategory1> We need to easily add entries and edit current entries to change the values for search, text1, text2, text3 fields and the message. result must maintain XML format and will convert to xml appropriate formats such as converting a user entry for <a href to <a href because xml files cannot contain the greater than symbol as part of a text field. Program is windows only. Please let me know what language you would choose for this project. VB6 or realbasic would be preferred. More detailed information and a sample data file will be provided to the programmer. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows XP
