PROCESS / FUNCTIONALITY OF THE WEB APP REQUIRED • This website should provide features for dividing expenses among the group members. • First, one has to register on the website with his email id or a person can send invite to the other person to join the group by entering his email-id. Must have features • So, once everyone has accepted the invitation, anyone person can add/ delete any expense, split it in different ways. o One can Add a bill (If one wants to enter an expense), also one can settle up(record a transaction i.e. bill paid) and these will be reflected in account of all members of the group. o One person can be a part of more than 1 group. At max 3. • Everyone will have a separate account.  Though the website for guidance ‘Splitwise’( address mentioned below) provides various type of fairness calculators, we do not require any of them.  Also, the ‘Splitwise’ website provides another feature of paying through PayPal. We allow only Cash Payment i.e. No need of any transfer agent. Users will only enter how much they have spent and we will split expenses. In his account, a person can set for what notifications one will receive mail. E.g.: o One wants to receive mail when any expense is added by someone in the group. o Wants to receive mail when something is deleted. o When someone is added to the group/ deleted. • One can view trends in their expenses with the help of pie-charts, graphs, etc. on monthly, weekly basis or quarterly basis. o One should be able to see all the expenses added by anyone in the group, modify them if needed. A Warning Mail System If someone wants to the website on notify them when their total expenses or expenses on particular item comes near a particular value, website will send them a mail.  One should be able to choose his/ her account currency.  No need of Currency Converter. Only use symbols. • Can add upcoming bills and can send notifications to select or all members of the group. • Should show how much one owes from others in the group and how much others owe him.
