I need an events database we can store events that happen in our web app to. It will be an external tool that we interface with by simple http
I need to be able to send stats to it. ideally a GET request with the following data in it.
Person Event type Event content meta
You will store theDatetime/ IP and user agent info that comes with the request
we then need an interface to get stats back from it. I need 2 types of things, 1 counts and 2 actual data. Here is what i have prepared
[login to view URL]
the top part is from the request of the data you are storing. the bottom 2 parts are the fetching of stats.
Let me know questions, it should be pretty straight forward if you think about how we might need this info. in one senario we just need counts of things like How many new pages where added by user 134 today. and in the other case i need to know literally all of the pages added today
I see it something like this
then to get the first query count we would do something like
[login to view URL]
for the second where we want the actual data it would be something like
[login to view URL]
all of the interface will be done by http and we should have jsonp via callback parameter so we can process this cross domain info.
What i dont have picked is the database, i would like to use something like mongo, redis, rethinkdb, any sort of bitmap index or otherwise mega fast storage method... but am open to other ideas you might have, just let me know why and your reasoning around it.
Need to be done with this really quickly so please let me know minimum time needed to get started and get a beta working
