Hi,
I just got referred to this from a recruiter on Freelancer who recognized the fit.
My company, PreviewLabs, is headquartered in Connecticut, with developers in Belgium and Québec.
We’ve been in business since 2010 with our first AR work in 2011. We have done several AR projects over the years, including for trade shows.
For instance, we used phone based AR to overlay smart city concepts on top of a lego city built for telecommunications company Spectrum.
In many of our projects, we were subcontracted onto the projects rather than directly working for the end client, so are good at thinking along and understanding the end client’s needs in situations like this.
We also created a vehicle video generation tool for the market leader in AI training, Scale AI - creating realistic vehicle renderings in Unity while adding scratches and other damage on top of it, and currently we’re working on a project related to suspension systems in which we visualize a Ford Raptor and Jeep Rubicon.
In the video you sent, they overlayed various panels at the front of the truck with a virtual version, making the color changing more robust. An impeccable 3D representation of the vehicle is key to this. In the project for Scale AI we incorporated roughly 100 car make/models and were able to buy high quality models at a cost far below what it would take to build them.
I suggest we schedule a call and look forward to learning more as well as to discuss the approach.
Kind regards,
Bernard
