Magento order problem

Hello, Our Magento site is tied in with GERS for inventory and orders. When an order is placed the shop is suppose to push the order back to GERS for processing. This works almost all the time but occasionally it fails to send the order to GERS. Someone we know that uses the same system mentioned that when this happens to them they have to manually "push" the order to GERS. What I would like is for someone to do this to a failed order from this afternoon. Give us a short explanation on how to do this if it happens again in the future. Looking to get this done right away. Thank you!
