Hello I am a system and network administrator, with more than 10 years of experience. I worked with different services and servers, particularly, designing of a local data center, management of local and remote sites, and cloud environments. The above-mentioned experience includes work with virtualization technologies, mostly based on VMWare products, cloud services such as AWS, DigitalOcean, and etc. I have proven knowledge of networking and security, thanks to the work experience and Cisco training sessions I participated. The short list of the servers and services include but are not limited to: Web Server (Apache, Nginx, IIS), Mail Server (Postfix, Exim, PowerMTA), DNS Server (BIND, Unbound, MS DNS), Firewalls (Iptables, PFSense, etc.), basic scripting (BASH) etc. As for the project, is it only about Zabbix server configuration? or agent should be configured as well? I have many years experience with Zabbix. I have set up zabbix on Ubuntu, RHEL and CenOs. I have sent up monitoring for many environments, Microsoft windows. Databases, other linux servers using the zabbix agent (active/non active), SNMPv2c, zabbix sender etc. Depending on the number of hosts and type of monitoring required will determine the outcome of this project.
