This is a fairly simple project. I do have some already created bits and pieces for such projects. I believe its just the code required (and not the planning documentation). I am a performance QA engineer (in my day time) and I am sure that the project sound simple but simple stuffs has a lot of potential to break at a lot many functional and non-functional places. I can minimal (if not zero) defects. As I read the description, I had following plans 1. Create basic HTML/JSP 2. Host it on a public server (I have an openshift account) 3. Use mySql backend to preserver basic login information 4. A secret question and answer to recover password. 5. File upload feature upon login (and ensure that its an image with XbyY size only) (The complexity and requirements of this task probably should define the bid value ) 6. All X Y and many other features can be externalized to property/config file 7. Basic cookie (or session) management (login/logout) I don't know but any admin account?.. not as per requirements below. My working hours: * 2 hours in weekdays' night (target is 3 good freelancing weekday) * 3 hours (either Saturday or Sunday) -- that gives me one day away from laptop. Open question: Does java mean web java or swing java? Milestones: I can following 2 phases 1. Complete code hosted on openshift (my account) 2. Feedback and Fix 3. Delivery of complete package (with DML SQLs as well).
