Join us as a Operations Clerk and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in Whitby, Ontario. As a Operations Clerk, you will generate equipment inspection & repair work orders, process returned paperwork, input defect booking sheets and learn the equipment. Your responsibilities will include: Generate repair work orders designated and unscheduled with corresponding forms attached; Monitor outstanding defects and advise supervisor; Ensure all resolved defects are closed in the system for equipment inspections; Book parts need to be back ordered and follow-up, coordinate status from Purchasing and Materials; Close all completed inspection and repair work orders validating labor and material charges. Qualifications Key requirements: High School diploma; Understanding of mechanical terms and equipment is an asset. Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken. Training for this position will occur on the day shift at the Toronto facility for up to 5 weeks. The rest of the term will be on the night shift at Whitby.
