Help and Teach me how to change a block in autocad.

I need help with a block i want to change.
I can change the block in length, but the auto multiply function wont work, it is scaled to the old dimensions.
Can anyone help and teach me how to do this? it must be very simple but cant find it.
i can send the 2 blocks, 1 is original, 1 is at the correct length, but wont work properly.
