Excel data comparison

The purpose of this project is to compare or audit three excel sheets and report on the differences. I believe that the easiest way would be through an excel macro though I will consider other solutions. The “GHIN” sheet is a list of every member at a golfclub that has a golf handicap in the handicap system referred to as GHIN. The column that you will need to key from is Column I or “Member Number”. I believe that you will need to loop through three different comparisons and generate exceptions based on the comparisons. Comparison number one will compare the member with number in Column I to the “Men” tab in the sheet where Column E = “Male” and Type = “R”. Excluding where Type = “J”. Comparison number two will compare the member with number in Column I to the “Ladies” tab in the sheet where Column E = “Female” and Type = “R”. Excluding where Type = “J”. Comparison number three will look at column C or the “Type” field = “J” and should the person be over 18 on or before 12/31 of the prior year you would generate an exception also an exception should be generated should the Birthdate field be blank. Note that the members with “J” in the Type column will not appear in the Mens or Ladies tabs. The potential errors or exceptions that should be reported in the “Results” sheet that I can currently think of would be. The column headers would be something like this Member Name GHIN Number Gender Exception - No GHIN for Member - No Billing for GHIN - Junior member over 18 - Junior member no Birthdate I will send live or actual data to the successful bidder, what is currently included is a set of sample data. The actual data contains approximately 900 members in the GHIN tab.
