Hello I am aware your brief states you require a native American English speaker, but I hope having the highest pass of 98% for US English level 3 will reassure you that I know the difference between US and UK English. I have two existing clients who I edit and proofread educational work for and I am aware of the varying degrees of difficulty required for varying age ranges, so I don't just look for errors, but also for (optional) synonymns where words may appear difficult for that specific age range. I have read your instructions and I am aware of your problems with syntax. To give you a few ideas of the level of my editing and proofreading, I noticed in the Word doc. you put 'small aliein kid' instead of 'a small alien kid' and also you put 'and they together build' when it should be 'and together they build'. In the first XL file 'Where Is the Gnome' should be 'Where is the Gnome' - you do not capitalise the first letter of insignificant words. These are just examples of my 'critical eye for detail' to give you an idea of the level of accuracy I go to - if there are any spelling or grammatical errors then that will reflect on the perceived quality of your products. You asked for the requirement of someone with higher education in literature which I hope I have fulfilled - I have a high pass for the Academic Writing Exam too, and I am one of few with UK level 2 English which concentrates on grammar.
