I am looking for a sound engineering professional who can appropriately adjust the RMS levels of my audiobook files in Audacity. The main objective of this task is to normalize the volume for a consistent listening experience across all sections. I can't get the files to pass the ACX on all levels. When I adjust one then another goes out of range.
The ideal candidates should:
- Have extensive experience working with Audacity and familiar with adjusting RMS levels.
- Have a sound understanding of audio editing and processing for audiobooks.
- Have a proven track record of audio work that involves volume normalization.
Specifically, I require the RMS levels for my audio files to be set to -20 dB. Also, the noise floor to be repaired as currently it is too quiet. If you have the experience and the skills to accomplish this task with precision and efficiency, please place your bid. I look forward to collaborating with a professional who has keen attention to detail and values quality sound production. I have 35 files, which together make up a small book of sermons written in Scotland in the 1930's.
