## Description: ESL Android App Development for Minew ESL 2.9 Inch ### Overview: We are looking for an experienced Android developer to create an application that interfaces with the Minew ESL (Electronic Shelf Label) 2.9 inch displays. The primary objective of the app is to fetch data from a provided API and update the images displayed on the ESLs accordingly. ### Requirements: 1. **Connection with Minew ESL 2.9 Inch**: - The app should be able to search for available ESL devices using Bluetooth. - Establish a secure and stable connection to the Minew ESL 2.9 inch. 2. **Fetching Data**: - The app must retrieve data from a given API endpoint. - The data will include information regarding the shelf and assets to be displayed on the ESLs. 3. **Image Processing**: - Based on the data retrieved, the app should be capable of processing and formatting the data into images suitable for the 2.9-inch display of the Minew ESL. 4. **Updating ESL Display**: - Upon processing the images, the app should send this data to the connected ESLs, updating their displays as per the latest data from the API. 5. **User Interface**: - The app should have a clean, intuitive interface that allows users to: - Search and connect to ESLs. - Manually trigger data fetching from the API. - Monitor the status of ESL updates. 6. **Error Handling and Feedback**: - The app should provide feedback on the connection status, data fetching status, and the status of image updates to the ESLs. - Proper error handling mechanisms should be in place to notify users in case of failures or issues. ### Proof of Work: Upon completion of the application, a demonstration will be required. This demo will be conducted via a remote desktop session, where the app's functionalities will be showcased in real-time using an actual Minew ESL 2.9-inch device. Only upon successful demonstration and verification of the app's capabilities will the project payment be released. ### Additional Notes: - Sample code will be provided to assist in the development process.
