Dear Sir or Madam, I am a native German and Russian speaker based in Vienna, Austria. I hold a diploma in Arts Management and am now close to the end of my Translation and Interpretation studies. I have experience with: -Creative writing, content production, journalistic articles in German -Translation from English/French/Russian to German etc. per 100 words 13$ --- Unschöne Aussichten Derart spöttisch erscheint der Titel des neuen Werkes von Renate Welsh „Die schöne Aussicht“, dass man nach dessen Lektüre ja gar nicht anders kann, als sich verstört und zu gleich ermutigt mit dem eigenen Dasein auseinander setzen zu wollen. Mit schönen Aussichten hat das Buch jedoch keinesfalls etwas gemein, bestimmt nicht für Rosa, den leidtragenden Hauptcharakter. Schon als junges Mädchen wollten die anderen Kinder nie mit ihr turnen, ihr Hund legte sich eines Tages unangekündigt unter einen Fliederbusch und starb, ihre geliebte Schwester lief vor ihrer unerträglichen Familie davon, ihrem späteren Liebsten fiel unglücklicherweise eine Tür auf den Kopf, ihr Ehemann wurde von ihrem eigenen Vater unter Hitler denunziert, weil er Juden half. Kurzum, jede Person, mit der Rosa es riskiert, eine tiefe innere Bindung einzugehen, scheint wie vom Pech verfolgt zu sein, bis Rosa selbst von sich überzeugt ist, die leibhaftige Pest zu sein. Nichtsdestotrotz entwickelt Rosa bei diesem ganzen erlebten Unglück eine starke, tapfere Persönlichkeit, die die Misere des Zweiten Weltkrieges mit- und überlebt und sich mutig allen erdenklichen und qualvollen Herausforderungen des damaligen Alltags stellt. Rosa existierte tatsächlich, als Renate Welshs persönliche Haushaltshilfe, die sich selbst gar nicht als Zeitzeugin betrachtete, sondern nur als eine Frau, die tat, was getan werden musste, nämlich nie aufgeben.
