We require a developer to create / configure a Ubuntu Snappy Linux image to support our custom hardware. The package needs to run on a standard Beaglebone Black which is connected to the following hardware devices: • 7” Capacitive Touch LCD. • RS485 interface for Modbus communications. • M-bus serial interface for metering network. • 3G embedded modem. • Light level detector. • Temperature sensor. • Loudspeaker. Full hardware device details and GPIO mapping will be provided. The build should also support booting with the supplied image logo.

We would like to do your project as we have experience of configuring, compiling/building a kernel image along with the kernel modules for embedded Linux boards. It would be exciting for us to do that for Beaglebone with external peripherals.
