I need a recoding of a existing database sync tool.
It exists in php-gtk as a stand-alone gui right now.
It needs a translation in another 'visual' language.
Visual Basic 6+ would be the preffered language.
The tool consists of a scheduler-component, where
one can input start- and end-time, including the intervall of
the sync operation and the database connectivity stuff. There is also a save option to an ini file and a 'start sync now' button.
The other component is the sync-process, which will be triggered by the scheduler. The databases will be MySQL
and Visual FoxPro (through ODBC). Using Mapping Tables
on the Mysql-Side the tool brings 8 tables in sync. The data
traffic exchanges via internet connection using TCP/IP.
The tool should run as a program without being
watched regularly.
Beside the source code of the already exisiting app, I can provide test databases on both, the mysql and the foxpro side.
