Create Script That Visits OKCupid Profiles

I am trying to figure out how effective visiting profiles on okcupid is as a method of initiating contact. If you are familiar with the site, okcupid notifies users about profile visits, and there is a paper that suggests that this is enough to generate contact. Of course, I could spend hours upon hours of my time searching for matches and opening profiles, but this would be a tedious and I would prefer to have a simple script or piece of software that can automate the process. Based on my intermediate understanding of the subject, this shouldn't be too hard to do as an external script or as a command run through the console in chrome. I would love to discuss with someone the feasibility, time required and price.
